I recently was able to purchase a nice watch collection in the midwest to offer here. The collector was all about his watches and took very good loving care of them. Here are some specifics about this watch:

Brand: Alvera

Model:Similar to Bulova Lone Eagle

Era: Late 1920s early 1930s

Case Composition:Looks like it might be silver, but more likely nickel

Case Dimensions including the lugs, but not including the crown or stem: 31mm X 24mm

Running Condition: This watch runs* Please refer to the asterisk statement below

Band Composition: Leather

Useable Size: This band and watch combination can work for wrists up to7 3/4inches in circumference ( of course this can be changed by changing the watch band )

Notes/Condition:This watch reminds me of a conquistador or bulova lone eagle. Certainly inspired by it!

* Denotes current condition. The service history of this watch is unknown to me unless I state otherwise. Therefore you should expect to service this watch if you are a responsible collector. Often times these watches have been forgotten in a jewelers desk or in a back room for 30 plus years. I like to save them from that demise and get them back into the hands of collectors. It doesn\'t take very long for old gummy oil to stop a movement from running ( many times just a week or so ) or even worse if the oil is dried out it might not take too long for the watch to grind itself up inside. This is not specific to my watches, but to all that have not been serviced in the last few years.For this reason we only wind a watch a few turns to verify if itwill go through the paces,so please understand I can only tell you if the watch is running here. I am notputting a guarantee onthe performance of a watch in reguards to timing or longevity.
