Unusual photo holder...

This little photo holder, made of "genuine weaver leather" is brown and when opened measures 12" long x 1.5" wide. It is an accordion style, folding up to a mere 2" x 1.5".

There are openings for 6 photos. 4 of these openings have a plastic window covering, 2 do not. There is an antique photo of a baby in one of these windows.

There are 2 slots made into the leather, which makes me believe that this was an attachment onto something, i.e., a belt, camera, purse, wallet? This unknown is a mystery to me.

Age is unknown.

It has some wear, as evidently, it has fastened onto something, and shows wear on the flap. See pictures.

This unusual item wasfound at an estate sale in Northern Alabama.
