Here is a wonderful vintage oil on canvas portrait of a redheaded woman , posing on a platform. This measures 17 1/2 x 21 1/4 ins. WITH the edge border.It is a loose piece of canvas, no wood stretcher. You will need to take this to your framer and have her stretched on one. It is signed James Yee. It is in FAIR as is vintage condition with surface chipped paint at the right side, left side,and a few surface scratches.The paint is applied very heavy, which gives it a rich look. I would date this to the 1940s time period.
