From Parkin & Co, a silver platemanufacturer operating in Sheffield between 1919 and 1977, this top quality fourpiece tea & coffee service in a traditional Georgian style with decorative ridgingaround the rims consists of a teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and milk or creamjug. The black Bakelite handles in this distinctive shape date the set to the1920s – 1940s Art Deco period, with each piece made of solid, high quality, electroplated nickel silver which is marked on the base as EPNS along with the maker\'smark. This charming set can be appreciated and admired for the craftsmanship andstyle of a bygone age while being used on the afternoon tea table at home or ina tea shop, restaurant or hotel offering silver service elegance.

Thesetoverall is in very good condition with minimalwear to the plate and retains its excellent shine. Consistent with this beingan authentic vintage household object which would have been in daily use thereis some light surface scratching, but the insides are very clean with verylittle sign of marks or staining.
