Vintage Art Deco Style Silver Tone Earrings Purple Czech Glass Amethyst Color
This is a pair of drop new-old-stock earrings in the Art-Deco style.
They are made of silver-tone metal and glass and are ca. 3 cm (approx. 1.18 inches) long.
Each earring includes a beautifully faceted, pear-shaped purple cabochon.
The actual color of the cabochon is hard to capture, so we’ve taken pictures under different light conditions.
The mounting is shaped like an elegant ribbon or a loop and includes 7 tiny clear stones.
These earrings are in good condition, since they are new old stock and have never been worn.
However, they might have been displayed for some time, so they show traces of wear
such as tiny scratches to the surface of stones and/or metal. Residues of glue may also be present.
We have also noticed some traces of verdigris on the push-back closures (see pictures).
We have not cleaned or polished this item - it is sold as is.
