This is a very attractive Art Deco white metal powder compact that is not marked. The latch (which works well) is of the style of early compactsmanufactured during the Art Deco period which began with the opening of \"Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris 1925\" (from pg.11 Vintage Compacts & Beauty Accessories). It is decorated in black and orange in a very deco style. It has a pad, and the interior is nice with a framed mirror . The back has a slight discoloration in the middle commensurate with its age. It is 1 3/4\" square by 3/8\" deep. It has a knick in the black enamel on the cover but it isn\'t that noticeable with the great design.This would be a great addition to any collection.
