The case is metal and unmarked

The loop on the end of the comb reads \"Gold Shell RM Co\"

Certainly it\'s not gold, it\'s goldtone or plated

The comb has all teeth intact, flexible, seems early nylon to me

Note the intricate ribbed texturing on the shell, and engraved \"H H\" I think

From the styling, certainly both 1920s -1930s or perhaps a little earliler
