Incolay stone is made of mineral combinations from Onyx, Malachite, Carnelian, Jade, etc.. Selected minerals are selected and crushed into a composite. These plaques are made by hand by artists using original works of art from 1820-1869. I have included the copy of the instructions that come with one of these plaques for your reference. However there is only one copy and it goes with the plaque it came with so you may not receive a copy unless noted in the listing.This plaque has an Art Nouveau feel to it even though it\'s inspiration was a bronze made in the 1800\'s. This is a naked woman with a row of curls in her hair wearing a flowing dress that does not totally cover her. The design extends from the base of the plaque. She is gorgeous. There is a hanger on the back and she comes in plastic so I\'m not certain she has ever been hung. This is the plaque that comes with the instructions and history. It measures 8 1/4\" tall by 4 1/2\" wide. Buy one or all of the ladies for your collection and save on combined shipping. This will be shipped with insurance.

I don\'t always clean the vintage items because Idon\'t want to de-value them. I leave that to the Buyer. I make no representations as to how they willclean up. Please review the pictures andask questions BEFORE offerding. Clothingis ready to wear when shipped but you might want to clean it first.

The shipping calculator is agreat thing but sometimes it doesn\'t work properly. If you buy and checkout on your own, without me sending you an invoice, then it may happen that Ihave to contact you for different shipping information or costs as thecalculator has been off on large items. You may have been able topurchase an item from someone living near you for lower postage but keep inmind that I am in the Southwest and shipping will be more to the Midwest andEast Coast then it is to someone who lives nearer to me.
