Vintage Art Nouveau Woman Judd Co #9788 Expandable Adjustable Book Rack:

This is a fabulous Art Nouveau era adjustable / expandable book rack circa early 1900s. Rack features a beautiful embossed Art Nouveau style bust of a woman on either end of a telescoping book rack. Piece was made by the Judd Company and is marked with the # 9788 (see pics). Item has some of the original gold tone gilding mainly on the internal areas with some original finish on the end panels. Item measures 5 ½” tall 5” wide at end panels, by 8” wide closed, expanding to 15” wide fully extended. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks with light wear on the high relief areas of the end panels.
