Vintage Artisan Miniature Sterling Silver Tea Caddy Obadiah Fisher Design 1970s. Beautiful difficult to find miniature sterling silver tea caddy from the Metropolitan Museum of Arts. Original life size tea caddy is in MMA permanent collection. Obadiah Fisher made the prototypes of the ten piece collection of miniature silver that retailed in MMA\'s store in the late 1970s early 1980s. This is written about in his biography, \"A Reference Guide To Miniature Makers Marks\". Unfortunately my photos do not do this piece justice in person it is much more detailed. Height 1 5/16 inches width 3/4 inch, 5/8 inches deep and top is removable. Weighs 16g. Signed on bottom, \"MMA\" (see photo). I have the matching tea/coffee set in another sale listing.
