Vintage Austrian Pottery, Black Vase & Pitcher Raffia Wrapped Mid-Century :

Large black pottery vase and smaller pitcher, made in Austria. I acquired these pieces from an estate and was told that the owner had them since at least the 1960\'s or possibly earlier. The vase stands 7\" tall and has a 3\" top opening. The pitcher stands 5\" tall and also has a 3\" opening, not including the spout. The pitcher is marked Made in Austria in faint yellow lettering and has an identifying #F88. The vase only has the number which I think is F61 (or it could be FG1). There is also a small numeral \"8\" on the bottom of the vase. Both are wrapped in raffia whichis damaged on both pieces, more so on the pitcher. It looks as if someone tried to repair it with glue and did a poor job. The pottery is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks with the only real sign of use being wear marks on the bottom rim of the vase. The only damage I see is from the glue on the pitcher and a few little white marks on the vase, one of which along the inside top rim may actually be a teeny tiny chip. Any or all of these could be touched up, or not.

These are heavy, sturdy pieces being sold as described, as is. I cannot guarantee thatthey havenot been exposed to odors: smoking, fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other types of storage odors or pets.

Shipping costs by way of the US Postal Service are expensive!!

I pack very carefully to be certain that you will receive your purchase
in perfect condition. Some sellers make money on their inflated shipping
charges. I do not. Often I underestimate and incur some of the expense

will refund any amount over $1.00 to your PayPal account. If the
