This Bello Hollow Grinder double edge razor blade sharpener was manufactured Bello Corporation of Gardner, Massachusetts in the 1930\'s. The ads for this sharpener were found frequently in the back pages of Popular Mechanics, Popular Science and other magazines of the day.
The blade is placed on a slide out handle and and rotated in about a 120 degree arc using the fold-up crank.
The sharpener is in fair condition with much of the black paint missing. Th cardboard box is in poor condition, faded and worn. This unique sharpener will still make a nice addition to your collection of stroppers, hones and sharpeners.Please study the pictures closely for item condition.
