Large brass pressure gauge from Marsh Instrument Company of Skokie Ill., made in USA. I don\'t know when this was made, but I am guessing early 20th century, as this is all brass, very heavy, and uses that great antique font for the numbers on the gauge. I am familiar with modern pressure gauges, and believe me, this is not the cheap throwaway type you can buy for $20, this gauge was made to be serviced! You can unscrew the front of the gauge to clean the glass on both sides and service the unit.Gauge is 5\" in diameter (diameter of the brass dial from outer edge to outer edge), by 2\" thick.Gauge is in very good condition, has some discoloration/rust along upper right edge of dial (see pics.) Glass on front is EXCELLENT with no cracks, chips, crazing etc. Brass housing is also good with just a little wear, and some discoloring on brass (\"patina\") from age. Front of gauge screws and unscrews on fine. Gauge not tested for functionality, sold for decoration, functionally as-is.
