I have collected Southwestern jewelry since the 1970\'s. The Bell Trading Company was founded in Albuquerque, NewMexico in 1932 by Jack Michelson and his wife Mildred. They sold Native AmericanIndian jewelry at various touristlocations in the southwestern United States until 1972. The Bell company got its namefrom Jack’s wife, whose maidenname was Bell. Over the years numerous hallmarks were used on items sold by BellTrading. The hallmarks typicallyincluded the image of a bell or that of an arrow sign post with a bell sign hanging fromit. The Bell hallmark is whatyou willsee on this ring along with \"Sterling\". The turquoise is channel setin a heavy foundation of sterling silver.I have hand polished this ring with a soft cloth to a soft shine. That is thebeauty of sterling silver, it will becomedark and can be polished back to a shine time after time.
