Vintage Betsey Johnson Alley Cat Dress - RARE:

This is a very rare vintage maxi dress by Betsey Johnson’s 70s label “Alley Cat.\" My mother-in-law bought the dress in 1971, at the Peasant Shop in Bryn Mawr, PA. She barely wore it, and has taken perfect care of it ever since; it is in pristine condition considering its age.
It is midi-length, long-sleeved, and in the prairie revival style so popular in that decade. The whimsical print displays songbirds with small blue flowers and greenery against a red background. The high, round neckline, cuffs, button hem, and skirt are piped in black. The center front of the dress has a black-button down closure. The bodice and sleeves are fitted. Unlined. Fits like an extra-small (please see measurements below).
