Super rare piece and super rare color. 1958 Blenko Glass designed by Wayne Husted. Charcoal. Rare find!
9\" high, 9\" wide, 6 1/2 deep. Weighs a little over 4 pounds. Very thick, heavy piece. This is a gorgeous piece of art. There have been a lot of questions, I will do my best to answer. Absolutely no cracks, no water lines, no stains. There Is a horizontal line behind beak where it attaches to face. NOT a crack. Every owl on google images has the same line. Also, the piece was made with hundreds of dimples all over surface, not perfectly smooth glass. There are about 5 spots that can be felt with fingernail the size of the point of a pin. I believe it to also be part of the manufacturing. You may call it a chip. Will add some pictures to show all imperfections but invisible to camera. I will offer returns if you are not satisfied.
