Here\'s your opportunity to own this Vintage Bob Gilson\'s Yukon Restaurant Saginaw Michigan Mug. It is made by Wilton Armetale. The mug measures approximately 4 3/4\" tall and 2 3/4\" across at the mouth, 4 1/4\" at the base. Bob Gibson\'s Yukon was a popular Saginaw Michigan Restaurant which featured both dining room and curb service and was advertised as being on US 10, one mile west of Saginaw. Today the location is the busy State Street area. A huge stuffed Kodiak bear greeted patrons inside the eatery\'s entrance.
On January 13, 1966 the restaurant was hit by a fire that destroyed the building, forcing some 200 customers to vacate the popular eating spot. The restaurant was never rebuilt.It is in very good condition and will make an excellent addition to your collection and to use.Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.
