Although I do not know the maker, the maker\'s mark is clearly on the backstamp: There is a shield topped with a crown & an incised number 129, & Germany in script font. (See photos)
The colorful bone china flowersdecadently decorate the front ledge of this piece & a lone pink rose adorns the rear.
The flowers, including a plump pretty pink rose in the front-center, are reminiscent of Clarice Cliff florals in 1930\'s England.
Very English country cottage chic. The perfect addition to a floral miniature collection or use for its intended placecard holder purpose. For over 30 years, this sweet piece was displayed among my Coalport, Royal Doulton & Jon Anton flower miniatures, to fabulous effect.
Simply charming! The variety of florals & colors will tickle you pink!
In good vintage condition. There are some minor flea bites or chips on some flowers & leaves, but nothing to detract from the sheer beauty & posh style of this sumptuous piece.
