Pretty old vintage bookends by FRANKART
Very hefty metal in brass coloring..I don\'t know the age but have seen others listed where sellers say these are from the 1930\'s...
Features a boy dressed in a sailor suit, holding a small boat with a dog looking at him
The base and front of the metal is smooth; back of the bookends is dappled texture metal
Bottoms are black felted fabric
In great shape...both have 5-22 lightly inked on the backs which would probably come off..I have not tried
Some dotting on the surfaceSome patination but no damage...these are quaint, old fashioned and very cool
Boy is 6\" high Dog is 2\" high...Backs go up 3.75\" and sides extend out 3.5\"Base is 5.5\" wide and 3.5\" high
