Mr. Reid glued it into his showcase collection.
Sign shows Elsie holding a milk bottle.
This would have been a double sided hanging sign for a grocery
store display.
Heavy card stock. Measures 9 1/4\" by 7 1/2\"
S-204 series numberMr. Reid was born in Detroit, trained as an illustrator and attended the Grand Central School of Art in New York.
In the late \'30s, he was working for Borden in advertising.
