This is a vintage crab ashtray made of solid brass. There is a hinged lid which covers a small, removable ashtray. The claws are adjustable with the screws attaching them to the body. It has an unpolished patina. As you can see in the last photo, one of the pincer legs has a manufacturing defect of a little rough metal on the back that was not cut off and smoothed out. It is in good working shape.
