Description of item for sale:
This vintage solid brass clock dates to the 1985 according date code on the back of the clockworks. The works are from the highly regarded clockmaker Franz Hermle & Sons in Germany. The detailed heavy brass case with red marble inserts is in excellent condition and shows a very nice light brass patina. The glass is missing from the front door of the clock. The 8 day time and strike clockworks run as they should and keep good time. The chime tolls out the hours and chimes once on the half hour on a very pleasant double bell chime. Dimensions: 16\" tall, 14\" wide, 4.5\" deep.
