This is a very cool vintage/ antique lamp made by The Greist MFG CO. out of New Haven Conneticut, I believe the base metal is brass, but has a copper tone finish, it is called New Super Adjustable Lamp, it also has a clamp on the bottom, and is adjustable, the cord is cloth and frayed, so I did not plug it in, needs replaced for safety purposes, socket is made by Bryant, the metal of the lamp is great, no dings, a few chips to the finish paint, stands 12\" tall with a bulb, the base is 4 1/2\" across, very cool old versatile light.
