Rare Find!
- Luxuriousdark brown supple minkfur
- Sleeves slightly flare at the bottom and have 4\" slits
- A hint of asian style with the wrap and belt, no button design
- Fully lined with lots of custom details on the lining
- Traditional striped look with very clean stitchings and quality craftsmanship
- The name Shirley is embroidered on the side of the lining
- No size label but looks like a small to a medium. (please see measurements)

Condition:Excellent vintage condition. Mink is very glossy and supple. No tears or marks of any sort. The lining is very clean and has a detailed design, with velvet ribbons and hand stitching. As its the case with high quality, well mademink coats, the liner is open at the bottom, allowing the back of the fur to be seen, by lifting the lining. The fur is cream color on the back and the strips of mink are stitched very closely and evenly,without any visibleuse of leather connecting strips. a delicate clear see through gauzemateial covers the back of the fur as additional protection.About the designer: Hanae Mori is a Japanese designer. She originally was a custume designer for many famed Japanese movies, until a chance meeting with Coco Chanel in Paris, inspired her to became a Couture designer. She presented he first collection in New York in 1965, and moved her design house to Paris in 1975. She became the only Asian designer admitted to the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. She retired in 2004 after over 50 years of work in fashion. Her trademark east-meets- west blend of wetern couture techniques blended withMao collars andkimono sleeves gave her designs a unique look. Her designs were often seen on the rich and famous including: Nancy Ragan, Hilary Clinto and Princess Grace of Monaco. This is a great find.
