This lovely four blade \"B & Y, Beanwy\" oscillating desk fan is in \"as found\" condition and has not been restored or repaired by us.

The heavy black, japanned painted cast metal body and base have retained much of their original finish, however, they do have the usual marks, scuffs and scratches that you would associate with an item of this age.

There are no splits or cracks to the four solid brass blades or metal cage, that I can find, and the central boss has \'\'B & Y, British\". The top also has an applied brass plaque with \"B.C.M, Birmingham, B & Y\" and the fans model specifications.

The fan is in working order including the oscillating function, the switch at the base moves from \"Off , 1, 2, 3\" .

It is sold as a \"collectable item\" and if being bought to use, I would recommend that it be checked and refurbished by a qualified electrician or engineer before use.

The fan measures 42 cm (16 1/2 inches) to the top of the cage.

This is a lovely vintage that would look fabulous on a desk in your office or at home.
