Vintage carved, faux ivory, elephant necklace from Calcutta circa1960’s.

My father brought this necklace to the US from Calcutta in the1960’s. It is a beautifully carvednecklace with an Elephant pendant and elephant beads. Has an elegant screw clasp that works verywell. In India, elephants are a symbolof strength, divine knowledge and wisdom.Necklace is 23 Inches long.

Necklace has never been worn.Has been sitting in a protected box for 50-plus years.
