Here is a vintage carved wood picture frame ,stained brown with a gold wash. It measures 19 1/4 x 23 15/16 in total size and the inner back rabbet size is 12 x 16 ins. The frame has a inner linen molding that has darkened with age. That can be replaced by your framer if you desire. It also has minor scrapes to the left side, a few other areas and wear but is solid.The frame has residual paint on the back of it, showing it was a custom -made frame that was hand-stained. It is not marked but looks like a Mexican style carved frame. This used to house a 1970s ( or very late 1960s) painting.
It is perfect for Mid-century,modernist,Mexican, retro and 1960-70s decors.
