Vintage Case XX Tested Hatchet Axe & Knife Combo Stag handle W/Sheath 1937 Vintage Stag handled Case Tested XX, changeable blade set with a hatched head and a knife blade with leather sheath. Has ”Patented Oct, 22 1935 stamped” on handle ruler. It is my understanding that these knives were manufactured from 1920-1940. My grandfather purchased this knife new in 1937.He used it and has some wear as seen in the pictures. The stag is beautiful and damage free. The sheath has aged patina and the piece holding the snap is fragile. This is used and is “sold as is”. Antiques and vintage items are old and are not perfect, they have issues and are fragile compared to a new item.
