Estate fresh vintage Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent talking stuffed animal. Cecil is from the Beany and Cecil cartoon show that aired from 1959 to 1969, animated by Bob Clampett. This stuffed animal was originally sold in 1961, and was probably available for a while after that. It is about 13\" tall. This is the talking version. Yes, the talking mechanism still works fine. Pull the string and hear Cecil talk while the string retracts. Tag reads QUALITY ORIGINALS BY MATTEL, Made in USA, Character copyright 1950 by Bob Clampett. Has some wear from age and use but is in good used condition. Cecil will sit up on her own. She could use a cleaning but that will be up to the new owner. Please see photos for further description.
