This item is in nice condition for decorative purposes as it is probably 75+ years old. I have not tested the electrical component due to age of item and it\'s cord. The glass insert seems original because of how it fits so well into the base securely. The chrome does have some scratches, and some minor dings that I can see at the top, but so small I could not get a good picture of them due to the reflective chrome. The most noticeable of these is a minor shallow dent below the middle ridge lines. I tried to capture that in the last picture. There are no cracks or damage to the Bakelite that I can see. The pictures are the best representative of the condition of the table butler.
