Check out this cool old chicken sewing basket. It is wovenwicker with a bamboo tail along with a painted beak and comb. It features red button eyes. It was anEstate sale find and my guess it is rather old.

With the top on measures 12\" high.The top of the bottom piece measures 8 1/2\" across the center.

Bottom bowl is 4 3/4\" high, there is a ridge weaved inside for the lid to fit on. It has some small areas where the wicker has broken please see photos for detail. Smoke free home. Thanks for looking.
