Large Bunny RabbitChocolate Mold byUnknown #479 from Estate Sale

This beautifulchocolate mold from a local estateis of two large Bunny Rabbits for Easter candy making. Each individual bunny mold is 6.75\" inches long. The outside of the mold measures 16.5\" x 7.25\" and weighs overfive pounds. Great for the aspiring cake or candy maker. We assume from our reading at The Chocolate Museum that these heavy molds are from around the turn of the century but may have been produced up til the 1950s. This one is heavy metal with the bunny figures soldered in, they are of a much lighter material.

This mold shows wear and is in need of cleaning.We do not know how to clean or condition these pieces, so we leave that to the purchaser.
