8 3/4 x 6 1/2\" includes the tab on the back - glass may need cleaned - please look at the enlarged pictures closely for any imperfections like paint missing, bends, rust, etc.
The metal framed glass lid was designed with the tabs on each side to slide down over the original cardboard box lid to protect yet display the cigars inside the box. These were used in old stores to show to customers the cigars that were for sale. Great for the collector or someone who sells cigars now and wants a piece of history.
