Vintage clear acrylic & metallic gold brush comb mirror set in silk-lined box:

This beautiful set has set inits original sturdy box all these years. The box is similar to a silverware boxwith separate little stands under the silk for holding each piece. The standsfor the brush and mirror have springs for a secure fit. The silk has yellowedsome to ivory with some foxing and has deteriorated just a bit around thestands. The frames on the pieces are clear acrylic with raised dots, ribbing,and a crown type design on top. The metallic gold background has a finecircular design throughout and a floral wreath medallion in the center. Thecomb is simpler and all acrylic with a similar design. The mirror is 13 ¼”long, the brush 10”, the comb 6 ¾”, and the box is 17 ¼” long, 9 ½” wide, and 2½” deep. The box is embossed cardboard over a hard frame. There is a spot onthe top that is a little lighter, and there are some scuffs and scrapes hereand there, but not bad at all for an old piece.
