To me, those shapes in the sides look like TVs from the 1950s (see pictures)
Great Mid Century Modern design
The glass is one piece of molded glass, made to be a lamp from the beginning. It is quite clear and pretty. I don\'t know if it is crystal or not.
About 7\" diameter x 7\" high to the top of the glass, 9-1/2\" to the top of the socket, 15\" to the bottom of the finial, 17-1/2\" to the top of the finial
The finial looks newer than the lamp to me. The hardware appears to be original and I think is from the 1940s or 1950s.
The lamp\'s wiring is worn out and needs to be replaced. I left it so you can see that this is an older lamp, not as new as the design might suggest. I would have the socket checked when you add a new cord. This lamp doesn\'t come with a shade. The glass was quite dusty when I got it and I gave it a good washing, but you may decide to clean it further. The metal parts are tarnished and have a nice patina as shown.
