This is what appears to be an old clock key, for a large clock, as the square opening is about 5/16\", larger than most clock keys. It is from an estate, seems quite old, is of cast iron or steel, 2 1/4\" wide and 1 5/8\" long. The part with the square opening is 1/2\" diameter. The little sharp piece projecting into the center of the handle seems to be a casting remnant, on one side only. This would be a useful item for anyone with a clock that needs this large size key.
