Vintage Copper Etching Print Plate of SeascapeSigned \"George Lee\" and symbol beneath his nameI am not an antique dealer or expert in this area so this is all I know or was told from the estate sale, but I cannot verify this as accurate:\"The wife\'s family fled Nazi occupied Austria in 1938 and lived in Shanghai until immigrating to America in 1950. There are many Asian antiques from her time in China.\"It is approximately 4\" tall and 5\" wideIn good condition except there are superficial scratches on the surface, and ink stains and other small imperfections - see pics! The plate appears to be a translucent material which has a thin surface of what appears to be copper and the image is made I believe by etching (removal by acid) because the lines are not scratchy but rounded or smooth when viewed with a magnifier.
