This fascinator hat iscirca1950sand bears a \"Coquette\" label. I acquired a small vintage hat collection from a gentleman who was settling his mom\'s estate and he had the hats individually wrapped in plastic bags. He told me that each hat was only worn once on a special family occasion and his mom insisted on keeping them as memorabilia.
Thisroyal blue velvetpillbox style fascinator is in excellent condition. Itmeasures about6-1/2\" X 7-1/4\" and hasadjustable \"wings\" on each side to hold it in place. Because it can be worn in a number of different ways I would assume this is a one size fits all hat. The birdcage styleveil isattached at the back seam and decorated with three satin bows, one on the back of the hat and two more attached to the veilin the middle.The color is a true royal blue and shows little to no fading. The veil is crisp and a little misshapen from storage but I\'m sure it can be straightened out.
It is an estatehat showing little to no signs of wear. It is being sold as is. I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to odors: smoking, fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other types of storage odors or pets.
