What a great little example of All-American Homemade Style! This adorable little dress looks to me to be an example of OOAK home sewing from the early 50s. The dress is a classic shirtwaist dress with a gently gathered skirt and button-front fitted bodice with a sweet eyelet yoke, front and back. The main fabric is a charming rustic print of dark gray chickens on wide light gray stripes that alternate with narrower crisp white and bright coral stripes. The dress is in generally very good condition and has been freshly laundered and pressed. The buttons are cute, original and all present. The dress has no stains or tears and only a small flaw in the weave of the fabric about 6\" above the hem in the center of the back. This is such a darling little dress and it won\'t be seen again.
