Here is a very special \"cracked egg\" vase (planter, candy bowl?) that is especially beautiful with its raised, hand-painted butterflies and gold trim. The butterflies, as you can see, are a prettygold & copper color plus they vary with some having maroon, turquoise blue, or pale yellow-green accents. It stands about 4\" tall and is about 2 1/2\" wide at the top. Please look at the photos, as they are part of my description. The vase is in excellent vintage condition. So pretty!

I do not know the maker. It has a stamp on the bottom which I could not find anywhere in my research. Please! Someone put me out of my misery and let me know who it is!! Meanwhile, there is a number on the bottom: 3003, as well, and that did not help either. It looks very much like some of the finer Napco egg vases, and I suspect it is made in Japan. What I do know, is that cracked egg vases seldom come with butterflies on them. This one is unique and beautiful.
