Vintage Crown Prince Footed Teacup & Saucer, Blue Forget-Me-Nots, Bone China:

This is a verynice footed tea cup and saucer set, made in England by Crown. The design is of delicatelight and medium blue forget-me-not flowers with green leaves. There is gilded goldtrim on the slightly scalloped edges of both cup and saucer, as well as on thecup handle and the base of the cup. Bothpieces are identified by a Crown and “FineBone China England”, marked on the bottom.

Both pieces are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. This set is from my mother’s 1950s-era collectionof teacup sets. This would be a verypretty set for a spring, or blue-themed, wedding or party. The saucer measures 5-1/2 inches in diameter and the cup measures 3- 1/2 inchesacross the top. Together they measure3-1/4 inches tall.
