Here is a vintage oil on artist board painting of an older woman in a black dress. The painting measures 12 x 16 ins. and is in fair as is vintage condition. It has a small cut to the board at the bottom right that can be touched up with black paint. It has more edgewear,most looks to be from old nails that were in a previous frame. the nails usually tear a small area of top canvas from most paintings if it is too snug. It also has a surface scratch at side right by her forearm, a chipped area of paint on her arm and more edgewear paint scrapes.I liked this painting because of her silver rosary crucifix and beads, also her lace sleeves on her black dress and she looks to have other expensive jewelry on.
