Vintage DI ALPEN Inlaid & Pressed Wood Marquetry MUSIC BOX Reuge Movement
Old wood box with pretty floral inlay on top and Art Deco Pressed Wood Sides and slat knob in front. Interior is lined with Burgundy Velvet lining. Then the side top panel is removed, you can see the large 22 key Reuge Movement, Made in Switzerland. The sound is very nice and loud. I don\'t know the song. Bottom has a foil label, marked: DI Alpen. The side panels are joined with diagonal wood pieces, you can see them when opening box. Believed to be from circa 1930-40s Era.
Size and Weight: 4\" high x 10 1/2\" wide x 7\" deep. Inside space is 2\" high x 6 1/2\" wide x 6\" deep. Weighs 2 lbs.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with a few lacquer spot losses on top of lid.
