You are purchasing the following:A Vintage Musical Trinket/Jewelry Box with Dancing Ballerina - Plays the Theme from \"The Godfather\"This is a beautiful box inside and out. The box is made of wood with a black lacquer finish. When the box is wound up and opened, it plays the familiar theme from the movie \"The Godfather\". When opened, box has 2 compartments on each side of the mirror in the middle where the ballerina twirls on. This box measures just over 5\" in length and it is 9 1/2\" in width. When the box is closed, it measures just under 4 1/2\" in height.The winding key on the underside is marked \"TOYO\", so I am assuming this box was made in Japan.The box does have a few flaws that I want to point out. First, there is a small split in the wood on the backside of the box just under the hinge. This flaw can be seen in the pictures. Second, one of the mirrors on the underside of the lid that are behind the ballerina when the box is opened, the mirror all the way to the right is askew. This can be seen in the pictures I provided as well. I am sure this can be carefully fixed somehow, but I will leave that up to the buyer. The box does have some general wear from age, use and being displayed. Other than the flaws I have mentioned, this box is in great shape and will display lovely.
