Ib Just Andersen was born in 1884 in Greenland, where he lived with his family for a few years before they traveled to Denmark. He trained as a sculptor and silversmith respectively from the School of Danish Crafts and the Royal Academy sculptor School.

Just Andersen started his career as an occupational exposure decorative sculptor in HCC Lamberg Petersen. Later he performed several designs for many famous silversmiths such as Georg Jensen, A. Michelsen and P. Hertz. Just Andersen\'s own workshop gave the best Danish design businesses competitiveness, and Just \'s work measured in accredited order with the great masters such as Georg Jensen.

Just Andersen\'s own production of jewellery was scarce, however he did perform smaller pieces such as cufflinks, brooches and the like in smaller quantities.

Just Andersen achieved great first success in abroad and participated at the world exhibitions from 1918 onwards.

An absolute beautiful rare piece of Danish design history from the first half of the 20th century - The sleek modernist design makes it timeless. Very hard to find anywhere especially in this condition - An investment that will only grow in value or a fantastic piece of jewelry or even both. - You can\'t go wrong here.
