This is a very rare pairofantique Dean\'s dancing dolls. This is Joan and Peter from England by Dean\'s Rag Book Company.

It is veryrare to find vintage Dean\'s Rag Book dancing dolls Joan and Peter, made only in 1930-1933, bearing original stamps to feet
The dolls are made of cloth with molded faces,stuffed with kapok and wood-wool,both dolls havepainted faces with blue eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows,nostrils marked with dots,open smiling mouths, They look very much like the LENCI dolls.
The girl hasa blonde mohair wig, and the boy has a blonde mohair wig which is thinning in the backBoth dolls dressed in original outfits: Joan is wearingbeautiful blue felt dress with orange trimmings, white cotton underwear, painted socks, black cloth shoes;Peter is wearing black felt jacket, white oil cloth typecollar with pink bow-tie, black and white checked cotton trousers, black cloth shoesApprox. 13 1/2\" tall.Original string with ring for handling them still attached
Original red stamps with Registered Design numberwith theitem title and maker found on the soles.Condition - dolls are in very good original condition with little general wear

.PLEASE NOTE: There is a small string attached between hairlines with a ring on the end. I put a small piece of tape around the string as it is thinand not too secure. The main problem I saw is with the boy. His hair is thinning in the back. Not that noticeable or put a tophat on him How cute would that be. Also may need a little cleaning on the face but really ingreat condition. I loved these when I saw them. In England they sell from about 400 dollars. This pair is in good condition with some minimaldust soiling NICER IN PERSON
