Description:

Dietz Type-A Convoy Tail Light N.Y. U.S.A
For restoration or display. Dent on bottom, needs lens on one side, otherwise in very good condition.
Not sure of application, Model T Ford or other vehicles form early 1900\'s-1920\'s. Maybe antique trucks also.
Has lights on opposite sides, has mount on side, I would guess for left hand side of automobile mounting.
Oil burner for wick is still inside. See images.

Handling, and handling time)- I pack the way I wish to recieve, not just thrown in a box (the way I get too often.) Packed with care. - You paid for Priority... so you want seller to ship ASAP, not wait a few days.... I ship next postal day when paid by 5PM for all services.

Prices: Most items are researched for prices. With odd or rare items, often the value is unknown, could be a steal if I have a set price without offerding, or no other buyers.
If not sold in several weeks, I may lower price, (in steps).
Remind me if some time has past and not priced correctly. Hard to keep up with prices on 300-400 items.

Tax:
Tax is collected for California buyers. Sorry. But gets reported and I would get hit big time at end of year.

Shipping Costs
I try to keep shipping costs as close to actual postage costs to your address. (Unless postage was incorporated into item for free shipping). Shipping is not cheap...ALSO, Always check Shipping tab, I sometimes give you 2 or 3 choices. Usually the cheapest will be at the top, but not always, due to your location. Speed vs cost. Choose/change when paying. I\'m located in California, so shipping may be cheaper towards the West. USPS flat rate is same to all areas, if it fits. Note: Shipping costs go to USPS/UPS, not me.
I pay /Paypal fees, packing material costs, handling, tape, labels, gas and time.
(Not to mention locating item, buying, (sometimes on commission) & hours photographing, researching, editing, listing, Emails, packing, mailing) Did I just mention that?

I\'ll respect buyers who do not want response for privacy reasons.

Shipping
I try to ship out the next business day M-F whenever possible. When Items \"paid for\" by about 5PM are then packed then shipped the next postal day (Monday-Friday). Items are shipped through the U.S. Postal Service or UPS (for heavy/large items). Delivery confirmation is included with every item. I will combine items to save on shipping (if you would like a quote for multiple items, please contact me). I prefer Priority Mail, and is highly recommended if you want the item quickly. Priority is also insured. 1st class for lighter items. I reserve right to send with different carrier if speed and your cost is the same. Only heavy/large items are available for local pickup. Much too much time was spent on arranging timing, you will get item sooner by mail. Items must be shipped to address on PayPal account. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico may have surcharge for UPS (ground service).
Insurance:
Priority mail comes with up to $100. insurance. Please request insurance quote if you use other shipping options and wish to insure or for values over $100. If an item is lost or damaged, please insure if you do not wish to take any risks. I will insure at cost. Please request before paying.
*Note: Parcel Post & Media mail will take longer to get to Hawaii. Perhaps also to Alaska and Puerto Rico than estimates, as parcel post is by CARGO SHIP.
SHIPMENTS TO HAWAII MAY TAKE UP TO about 20 Days DELIVERY TIME IF YOU CHOOSE PARCEL POST, usually 9-14, but matters when ship is loaded and leaves...
Please do not blame me for transit delays, I stay up late for you, and ship the next postal day. Choose Priority when needed quickly, by air. estimates may not be accurate outside lower 48.
Sometimes USPS does not update tracking on Parcel Select until delivered.
I pack items the way I wish to receive- with care, and ship quickly.

Terms of Sale, Returns
Most all sales are final. Some items may be sold on commission, but all items are in my possession. Please read description and look at images (I spend lots of time on these) as to condition, many items are used unless noted otherwise. Feel free to ask questions if you have any concerns- Before Purchase or offerding. Refunds will only be issued if I send you the wrong item or if the item is grossly misrepresented. If I made an error, let me correct it- write me before leaving response. Write me only through messages within 3 days of receiving.
New items must be unused. Items opened and defective, please contact manufacture, or perhaps exchange at local retail store. Otherwise more shipping cost will also be involved.
You must write me via messages before any return is made.
Although rare, I have no control over manufacture defects. If a return is made and determined it was shown/described well, or out of my control, buyer pays all shipping costs or policy. New items: New items must be returned unopened, unused with the manufacturer\'s seal unbroken and intact, when applicable.
A possible 10-20% restocking fee to compensate for possible: original shipping, relisting fee, packing, gas, time, etc. Refunds are made after item is returned, I\'m an honest individual, not a mega corporation. See time limits for returns.

As per request, items $250 USD or more, recipient\'s signature to confirm delivery is required.

Payment
Paypal is the accepted form of payment. Payment is due within 4 days of purchase. International buyers (when offered) are responsible for duties, taxes, and fees as determined by their local government.
