Although I have no control whatsoever how an item is handled on its way to the buyer, I do make sure it is well protected in the box, and should arrive safe and sound, regardless of a few bumps and scrapes along the way. If this were to happen I would notify the buyer if there were to be a delay. This only happened once before, and it wound up shipping out 3 days after payment instead of the usual next day, but the buyer still wound up getting the item within 5 days! I completely understand the concept of trying to get the best deal possible, and I am willing to work with people. I do generally do a light cleaning on items that may need it, but for the most part, I will leave them as is condition, as I have learned over the years that most buyers of vintage items prefer to have them left as is, and in some circumstances, cleaning them will actually ruin the value. On items where I provide free shipping, please understand the method is at my discretion. And, although, most will be shipped priority, it is not always the case. If you have specific shipping needs or requirements, you must address these prior to offerding. I am an honest and hard working seller, please respect that. Also, I will pack all items well, but I have no control over rough handling from the post office. I prefer to use the priority flat rate mailers whenever I can so that the items arrive quickly and covered with insurance. I do wrap the items well inside, therefore, even though it is an envelope, I have an excellent record of items arriving fast, free, and in the same condition as shipped. If you are not in the Continental US, you will be required to pay for shipping.
