Offered here is a Vintage 12\" Disston Brass Bound Mahogany Level with a single Plumb Vial. Constructed with distinctive ridges in the finger grips and a brass binding configuration unlike the more familiar Stratton and Stanley types, this Disston piece is a sturdy working tool 100 years or so after it was made in Philadelphia. Apologies for the missing small brass disc at the base of the Plumb Vial assembly. Portions of the brass bindings and end pieces show some indication of cleaning or polishing.
