GoldyRocksFL is proud to present a Vintage LadiesFancyDoxa 14K Yellow Gold Floral Design Wristwatch (Circa 1930s - 1940s) with an adjustable 1/20 12K Gold Filled Watch Band made by Hadley. This wristwatch is absolutely beautiful. The dial has black numbers and a black sub dial.Our watch maker informed us that this watch needs a pair of hands, an off second hand, a crystal, and a cleaning. We were given an estimate of $125 to have this repaired to like-new condition. This watch was put away for many years and left untouched. It is ideal for parts or restoration; all it needs is a little bit of Tender Love and Care (TLC). The entire case made of 14K Yellow Gold and is in good condition considering its age. The 14K Yellow Gold bezel is absolutely beautiful design and there is remarkable detail around the rest of the front of the watch. The lugs have an eye catching floral design that appears on both sides of the watch. The back side of the case is very easy to open. When open, you can see the back side case markings: Doxa, 14K, 0.585, two small symbols of what we believe are animals, a crown hallmark, the number 537159, and a hammer-like tool with the number 138 inside of it. The hand-wind mechanical watch movement reads \"Doxa, Locle Doxa, 6\". The watch band is made by Hadley and is 1/20 12K Gold Filled. It is marked \"Hadley Pat. Pend 1-20 12K GF\" and has a very nice design and looks great with the watch. The watch (including the watch band) measures approx. 6 1/4\" - 6 5/8\" when closed (watch band is extendable by approx. 1/2\") and 5 15/16\" when opened.The measurements of the watch are approx. 1 1/16\" lug to lug and 15/16\" across including the crown and the weight is 15.1 grams. We estimate that the gold weight is 3.8 grams. A great wristwatch for parts or restoration. Bought from an estate.
